Dear Ice Hockey Friends,

The
MERC Jungadler (“Young Eagles”) Mannheim warmly invite you to our
25th International Children’s (Youth’s) Ice Hockey Tournament for
U9 teams with the birth years 2001 and 2002, U11 teams with the birth years 1999
and 2000 and U13 with the birth years 1997 and 1998 at
the SAP Arena in Mannheim, Germany.
The
U9 and U11 tournament will be held from the 13th of February to the
16th of February, 2010.
The
games begin at 8:00 am. The tournament ends on Tuesday after the awards
ceremony approximately 16:00 pm.
The
U13 tournament will be held 3 weeks earlier from the 22nd of January
to the 24th of January 2010.
In
each age group league, 10 teams will be playing against each other, from
different countries.
The
games will be played according to the IIHF and DEB time rules.
There
will be a championship games to determining the teams’ places, which result in
each teams playing at least 10 games.
Furthermore,
an All-Star game is planned.
Accommodation
for the teams can be arranged at nearby hotels and boarding houses.
The
teams’ coaches and assistant coaches should contact the tournament’s director
for assistance in making hotel arrangements.
The
meals during the tournament will be provided to the players and assistant
coaches (maximal 3) for free.
The
travel cost to and from the tournament should be organized and paid for by each
individual team.
We
will provide team-scouts (helpers) to each team to assistant the team in their
particular countries’ language while they are at the SAP
Arena.
To
guarantee a free from problems start of the U 9 and U11 tournament at Saturday,
13th of February around 08:00 am,
all
guest teams had to go possibly already the day before, arrive Friday
12th of February in the evening,
for
the purpose of team leader\'s meetings and the purification of different
organizational aspects.
Teams
will be allowed to participation in the tournament according to the order of
their registration, which is binding.
The
registration fee for the four day, U9 and U11 tournament from 13th of
February to the 16th of February, 2010 costs 400 Euros per team.
The
registration fee for the three day, U13 tournament from the 22nd of
January to 24th of January 2010 costs 300 Euros per
team.
The
detail information concerning the game plan and specific grouping of teams will
provide after we have confirmed
which
teams will be participating in the tournament.

The
registration deadline is the 1st of October,
2009.
Afterwards
our back confirmation follows, up to the 15th of October, 2009 with the request
to send
the
association logos of the guest teams for tournament purposes.
After
entrance of the Entry fee, the participation is valid as final
confirmed.
